Flanged Sleeve — Spacer Type

Application: Commonly used on pump and compressor drives where maintenance or replacement of shaft seals or bearings is accomplished without moving connected equipment. This arrangement is normally used in place of Series FS in tandem arrangements where shaft spacing is minimum and where low weight and WR ² are important.

Description: Amerigear Series FE Flexible Coupling consists of two standard halves assembled to the spacer element. The accurately machined steel spacer may be furnished to desired length. For coupling dimensions, refer to Series F. See engineering section for speed and torque ratings. Step-down spacers are available for connecting half coupling of different sizes.
